Fairy tales are some of the oldest and most streamlined forms of storytelling that we have, so for the next several months Alex and Jonathan will be taking a look at a variety of ways that these classic tales have been translated into the cinematic medium. Hopefully by the end of the series you will have a fuller appreciation for these tales of the unexpected and marvelous, as well as a some new ways of thinking about the next fantastical film you encounter.
